The Belfield-Medora Food Pantry, supported by Medora Lutheran Church, offers supplemental food and personal hygiene items to residents of Belfield, South Heart, Grassy Butte, Fairfield, Fryburg, Daglum, and Amidon in North Dakota. Established in 1986, it operates with an all-volunteer staff and is recognized as a model food pantry in North Dakota and the Red River Valley of Minnesota. The pantry provides perishable items weekly on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with late pickups available at 7:00 p.m. by prior arrangement. Additionally, non-perishable items are distributed on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents seeking assistance are required to complete a distribution request form each month, and arrangements for late pickups should be made ahead of time.
