The Badlands Human Service Center, serving Region 8 in southwestern North Dakota, provides a range of behavioral health services to residents of Adams, Billings, Bowman, Dunn, Hettinger, Golden Valley, Slope, and Stark counties. Located at 1463 I-94 Business Loop East in Dickinson, the center offers walk-in behavioral health assessments Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT. Individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis can call or text 988 for immediate assistance. Services include psychiatric medication management, addiction counseling, psychology, social work, case management, and nursing. A sliding fee scale is available based on income, and no one is denied access to services due to inability to pay.
