The Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Housing Department provides decent, safe, and sanitary housing for Tribal members and works to eliminate homelessness and substandard housing. They manage low-income rental homes, mutual self-help homes, and offer homebuyer programs, including down-payment assistance. Also, there are financial counseling, homeownership education, and a residential restoration program to maintain and improve housing quality.
