The Standing Rock Housing Authority (SRHA), established by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in 1961, provides affordable housing for low-income and homeless families on the Standing Rock Reservation in both North and South Dakota. Managing over 460 housing units through Tax Credit projects and other programs, SRHA addresses the housing shortage where multiple families often share a single home. They offer a variety of programs, including Indian Housing, Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8), agency-managed properties, and Low-Income NAHASDA units.
